Due to no business that needs to come before the board, the P&Z meeting has been cancelled for this month.
Manilla Madness is a 28-mile bike ride encouraging cyclists from near and far to enjoy the beautiful, scenic ride from Denison to Manilla and back. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the ride begins at 9 a.m. through 4 p.m.
The Denison Community Schools mariachi ensembles will perform on the Washington Park stage as part of the celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Food vendors will be allowed to sell food and drinks (non-alcoholic) and sponsorships will provide fundraising for the DCSD Mariachi program. The Denison Music Boosters will assist in set-up and clean-up for the event.
