A Senior Education Series will be held at the Denison Senior Center every 3rd Wednesday of each month starting at 8:30am at the Senior Center. There will be plenty of topics covered for senior citizens. Sponsored by The Reed Place Senior Living and Angels Care Home Health.
The Farmer’s Market is back at the Denison Crossroads parking lot (near Dollar Tree). Grab fresh local produce from local farmers every Thursday from July 7 – October 27 from 3-6pm. The produce vendors accept WIC and Sr FMNP Vouchers, plus EBT and credit/debit cards. Contact Elaine Baughman for details at 712.579.1617.
Crawford County’s signature tourism event, the Tri City BBQ Fest will be on September 16th & 17th. The festival pits three nearby metros in a battle for the best barbeque and bands, all taking place among the historic streets of Uptown Denison! Enjoy two nights of BBQ competition, beer tent, carnival games & rides, car show, historical tours, shopping and more. FREE admission!
