Denison will once again be a part of the Hwy. 141 Garage Sales on August 5th and 6th, 2022. Listings are free for Denison area residents! Please call or stop by the CDC office or email sbonner@cdcia.org with the location, dates and times of the sale, and a short list of items for sale. Your listing will be on the official event website at 141sale.org as well as the map of Denison sales available locally. All listings need to be received by August 4th at Noon! The sale route follows Highway 141 across beautiful west central Iowa between Grimes and Sloan, for over 177 miles of garage sales, bargains, and hidden treasures just waiting to be found.
Head on UPTOWN Saturday, August 6th, from 6-12pm for the first annual street dance on Broadway. Live music provided by Top Down! Food vendors and beer garden available! This event is 21+ and IDs are required for entry!
Please note the 3pm street closure.
Free backpack and school supplies give-away at the United Methodist Church for children in TK through 5th grade.
They will be set-up in the parking lot from 4:00-6:00 pm. Everyone is welcome!
