Administrative City Clerk

City of Denison (pop. 8373) seeks to fill professional and administrative department head position for directing the operations and activities of the City Clerk’s office. Reports directly to the City Manager. Individual must be experienced with public administration, municipal finance, budgeting, and standard office software. 

Denison is the county seat of Crawford County, located adjacent to Highways 141, 59 and 30. Located in West central Iowa, the community enjoys a diverse population, a variety of cultural events and an exceptional school system. Minimum qualifications:
BA Degree in Business/Finance or Public Administration, AA in related financial field with 7 years’ experience as City Clerk. Assistant/Deputy City Clerk in city of comparable size can be substituted for academic qualifications.
