Mayor, City Council seats up for election this November

The positions of Mayor of Denison, At Large City Councilperson, Ward 1 City Councilperson, and Ward 3 City Councilperson are up for election on November 2, 2021. Following are candidates who have filed for the positions.

  • Mayor: Pam Soseman (incumbent, elected in 2019)
  • Ward 1: Dustin R. Logan (incumbent, elected in 2021)
  • Ward 3: Corey Curnyn (incumbent, appointed in 2016, elected in 2017)
  • At-Large: Jessica Garcia (incumbent, elected in 2019) and William L. Miller

The mayor’s term is for 2 years and council member terms are 4 years. Councilmen John Granzen (Ward 2) and Greg Miller (At Large) were elected in 2019 to 4-year terms. 

The election will take place on Tuesday, November 2. Citizens can contact the Crawford County Auditor at 263-3045 for information regarding their Ward, and voting locations.
